A five-storey rental housing development designed to support accessible, energy-efficient, and high-quality living in Chatham.
The brief
Located in the City of Chatham, this project was developed to address the growing need for accessible and energy-efficient housing. The building provides 68 thoughtfully designed one-bedroom units, creating safe, comfortable, and modern homes for new tenants.
The site was originally a single-dwelling lot and was successfully rezoned to a multi-residential designation with the support of the City of Chatham. The project reflects a proactive response to housing need and supports the expansion of rental housing options in a growing urban context.

Natural textures, such as wood, stone, and woven materials, combined with rich, deep blue tones, create a harmonious flow that seamlessly connects the various spaces throughout the home. This thoughtful combination not only enhances visual continuity but also evokes a sense of calm and cohesion, making each room feel like an intentional extension of the next.
