Building
A proposed long-term care facility planned around resident comfort, accessibility, operational efficiency, and long-term community value.
The brief
The project was planned as a contemporary, hospitality-inspired long-term care environment with 125 residential care units across six storeys. The design focuses on creating a comfortable and enriching experience through resident-centered spaces, premium finishes, and carefully integrated indoor and outdoor amenities.
The development was also planned to align with Ministry of Health, AODA, and CMHC guidelines. This supports accessibility, operational efficiency, and the long-term value of the facility within the broader community.
Scope of Work
Natural textures, such as wood, stone, and woven materials, combined with rich, deep blue tones, create a harmonious flow that seamlessly connects the various spaces throughout the home. This thoughtful combination not only enhances visual continuity but also evokes a sense of calm and cohesion, making each room feel like an intentional extension of the next.
